District Court arraigns two youths in break in case
Manuel Joseph Jr of 540 Thames St and Edward J Ennis of Knight St Providence pleaded not guilty to separate night time breaking and entering charges at the Cup Defenders Club on Jan 25 in a Fifth District session. Bail set at $1000 each, Joseph also faces speeding on Hope St Jan 22. he pleaded guilty and was fined $25 and costs. Ennis denied a wealth from justice charge tied to a larceny case in Rehoboth. case set for Feb 23 after Mass State Police brought him in. A 16 year old from RI Training School is suspected in the break. police hope arrests help crack the episode. Joseph, recently discharged from the training school, had pleaded guilty to assault on night school students and was fined $50 months ago.

Wallis E Howe was re elected senior warden for the 27th year and Henry Wood was chosen for a 10th consecutive term as junior warden.
