A 1914 Colt Memorial High School graduate, he later attended R I State College and served in France in World War I before joining Davos Rubber as assistant head chemist. He is husband to Clinton T Sherman’s daughter. his son Clinton graduates this month from Classical High School Providence and plans Brown University next week.
