A patriotic service at St Michael's Church Bristol England supporters will attend including Dr Paul Moody Middlebury College president and Bishop James Perry The procession includes church chairs army state and town officials Legion members and Greek and British officials The event showcases war relief fundraising and features St Dunstan's Choristers and a 120 voice choir with music director Gardner Nichols.

Council to study NYA request on Thames street addition

Teachers Will Play In Basketball Benefit Game

Final plans for the Birthday Ball and a benefit basketball game were announced at a Warren meeting. The Colt Andrews faculty will play Warren High faculty in the Warren High gym tomorrow evening, with an alumni game between Warren High and Barrington High. Proceeds go to the Infantile Paralysis Fund Drive chaired by Dr Frederick V Martin for Bristol. Dancing follows. Reservations for the Birthday Ball are to be made with the Bristol Casino, Mrs Vasta Ruggiero, or Dr Martin.

Local Men Ordered To Active Army Duty

James A Woodruff orders 28 Second Lieut John Raimond of the town to active duty at Fort Belvoir Virginia. Second Lieut Vincent Tascana, CA Reserve, also of the town, is sent to active duty at Fort Constitution in Portsmouth New Hampshire.
