Fall River Men Sentenced in Hi Jacking Case
Two Fall River men received jail terms in Superior Court after a late August hi jacking in Fall River. Arthur DeCosta 27 drew 13 months, Adam Cudzik 28 received 24 years, while Joseph Silvia 27 was given a deferred sentence. The burglary charges were reduced to breaking and entering at night with intent to commit larceny.

The St Michael's Brotherhood presented the fourth annual minstrel show in the parish house with gags songs solos and a baby parade of nine young church women. Rev Anthony R Parshley officiated as interlocutor as a 15 piece mixed chorus sang harmoniously and the program featured dancers and skits. The event closed with dancing to Joe Bisbane's orchestra and will be repeated tonight.

Funeral Services Held Yesterday For C H Dillon
Charles H Dillon, 55, a former resident of this town, died Friday in Providence after an eight month illness. Services were held at his home on Alabama Avenue then a requiem high mass at St Pauls Church Providence with burial there. He owned the Star and Pastime Theatres here for years and later moved to Providence to join his father in business. A renowned sportsman he held the Rhode Island trapshooting championship in 1918 and 1919 and helped found the Providence Gun Club and served as commodore of the Rhode Island Yacht Club. He is survived by his wife Anna E Dillon and three children.
