Planning Board weighs sewer and water costs for rezoning
The board estimated sewer installation at about 100000 to connect to the Hope Street main while water lines could cost 3 to 5 per foot from Metacom Avenue. A hearing is set for February 26, with a possible favorable view if the Sousa plan includes a water line. Andrade says the condition would have stopped the rezoning pursuit, noting prior opposition centered on sewer and water.
