Bristol Jaycees to honor Outstanding Young Man at Midway Steak House
The Bristol Junior Chamber of Commerce plans a Jan 30 dinner at Midway Steak and Lobster House to name Bristol’s Outstanding Young Man of the Year. John E. Notte Jr. will speak. They also donated $10 to the Journal Bulletin Fund for slain East Providence officer James E. Caruso and seek public nominations for the award.

Warren Defeats Guiteras Five In Intramural Win
Warren five defeated Guiteras Junior High 35 31 Wednesday in Warren. Bettencourt 13 and O'Brien 12 led Warren scorers while Goglia had nine for Guiteras. Others include Biancuzzo Bruscato Nenna Borges Ruggiero Jackson Alves. Dukes beat Earls 28 23 in eight grade intramural with Cardoza scoring 15.

Probate Court action in four estates handled by Judge Bruno
Judge Ferdinand Bruno presided yesterday in Probate Court over four matters. The court accepted a supplemental inventory of 354.49 in Mary E. Fay estate and approved the guardian's petition to sell and purchase securities in Oskytel H. Clarke estate. Inventory was accepted in Emelie B. Caruso estate. Antone Silvia was appointed administrator of Wilfred H. LaBella estate with a 2000 bond, John and Cecelia Dias as surety and Sidney Dunbar as appraiser.
