Debating Club Holds First Guiteras Debate
On January 10 the Guiteras Debating Club held its first members only debate with judges Miss Bores Mrs Moyer Mr Campagna Mr Annarummo and Mr Jassello. Geraldine Ficarra moderated as Marigrace Sousa and Linda JaMonte argued for a community fallout shelter program while Patricia Moberly and Beverly Rodgson spoke against. After three minute speeches and rebuttals, ballots favored the negative side. A February open debate is planned.
