Thieves Foiled In Robbery Of Local Man
Nicholas Castigliego, 23, of 10 Washington Street, was attacked near Chestnut and South Streets as he walked to a Providence dance. Two men attempted to rob him. one struck him and the other searched his pockets but fled as pedestrians arrived. Castigliego received medical care at Rhode Island Hospital for a swollen jaw, infected tooth, and a discolored eye.
