83-Foot Patrol Boat To Be Moved Here
83 foot patrol boat Stormy Weather used by the State Dept of Agriculture and Conservation for shellfish transportation will be moored at the State Pier here within a few days. Thomas J Wright chief of the division of fish and game said the craft will be brought from its temporary moving in Warren as soon as the current dredging project at Church Street Ship is completed.

8 Million Gallons Pumped At Plant
Eight million gallons of sewage were pumped through the plant yesterday, higher than the usual 1.75 million. Plant superintendent Louis Medeiros cited high tide storms and infiltration. Five million gallons were pumped on Wednesday and four million in the last 24 hours, totaling 17 million over three days. Medeiros and Town Engineer Joseph A. Murgo planned to inspect the old Soldiers Home line this afternoon.

Public School Instrumental Teacher Added in Bristol
Roger Dietz of Marlboro Mass has been named instrumental music teacher for Bristol public schools at 5500 a year. Superintendent Edward J Fitzgerald announced the appointment to fill the vacancy from Albert R Dalton’s June resignation. Dietz will begin Monday after earning a Bachelor and Master of Music Education from the New England College of Music in Boston, with a 1947 bachelor’s degree.
