Pioneer Bristol native Gorham dies at age 70
YSAAC WARREN" UO ab YSAAC WARREN" UO ab Ysaac Warren Gorham, a Bristol native and first settler in Bristol, died Sunday in Warwick in his 70th year. Born April 22, 1888, he worked 45 years in insurance, retiring as state agent of Home Insurance Co. and later with Providence Washington. Survived by son Isaac W. Gorham Sr., daughter Mrs. Charles Freitag, sisters Mrs. Edward P. Church and Mrs. Robert Gifford, and three grandchildren. Funeral tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Remington Funeral Home, Providence. burial at North Burial Ground.

Emma Gardiner, 99, longtime town resident and former teacher born in Thompsonville Connecticut, died Friday after a long illness at the Bristol Convalescent Home. She leaves three sons Harold Stephen and Edward, eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Funeral was held yesterday in Fall River with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
