Enabling Act Sought To Sell Town Land In Bristol
The Town Council approved a resolution asking the General Assembly to enact a measure allowing Bristol to sell land between Thames Street and the waterfront to Collins and Aikman Corporation. Judge Edward L. Leahy presented the resolution detailing sale conditions. The council also amended the zoning law to reclassify a parcel on Tupelo Road from Residence C to Business District and prepared forms for the three zoning board members.
