Call Issued For Red Cross Volunteers
The Red Cross workroom will open tomorrow in the Holmes House from ten to four. Volunteers are urged to sew or knit to complete work by January 31 under Mrs William Pinch. The Red Cross office in the Post Office Building is open Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays 2 to 4 PM. Materials or yarn can be secured from Mrs Diman or by calling Bristol 266-W for home work.

Car crash on Bay View avenue injures none
Joseph Cabral of 25 Thompson Avenue crashed into an unlit ditch on Bay View avenue in front of King's Greenhouses Saturday at 5 10 am. Officer Frederick W Serbst said Cabral was driving east at a moderate speed when he struck the ditch, then the car traveled about 20 feet into the ditch, damaging the undercarriage and left mudguards. No injuries reported.
