Mrs Maria Paivo 62 died Monday after a brief illness at home on Wood street Funeral services were held at St Elizabeths church Rev Henrique Rocha officiated Burial was in St Marys cemetery She was born March 4 1875 in St Michaels Azores and came to Bristol 34 years ago Surviving are her husband three sons Manuel Anton Alfred two daughters Mrs Anna Castro and Sister Mary O Paivo nine grandchildren and five sisters plus one brother The Paivo family belonged to Holy Rosary Society and St Francis Our Lady of Carmelites order members resided Bristol community
