Annual Meetings of Three Fire Companies Reported
The Hydraulion Engine and Hose Co, King Philip Steam Fire Engine Co, and Dreadnaught Hook Ladder and Hose Co held their annual meetings Wednesday evening with officer elections and routine business. Hydraulion appointed Coggeshall as foreman and selected delegates to the Rhode Island State Firemen's League. supper followed with music by the Chickenville Band. King Philip elected Burke foreman and named officers including Ashton as clerk, with plans for a turkey supper and a dance in Grand Army hall. two new applicants joined. Dreadnaught did not elect officers, deferring to next week, after a roast pig supper and entertainment.
