New Colt High School adds John L Burke from Brighton
John L Burke of Brighton Massachusetts becomes the Colt Memorial High School faculty member, succeeding Charles E Dowd who leaves for Walpole. Burke, a Boston College graduate with AM from 1930, taught mathematics in Newton Our Lady High School and Boston public schools. Dowd ends service at Colt today and begins duties at Walpole High School next Monday.

Home Demonstration Club Fifth Meeting Highlights
The fifth meeting of the Home Demonstration Club met Tuesday at Mrs. Mary J. Condon's home on Church Street to close the Nutrition project. Members were weighed and measured revealing two underweight and the rest overweight. Mrs. Helen Byrnes and Mrs. Bessie Crowley scored highest in the five month contest. Mrs. Mary Condon and Mrs. Helen Byrnes were named local leaders for the term. Mae McDonough was appointed musical director. The next gathering is scheduled for the latter part of March.
