Washington Ball Celebrates Bristol Train of Artillery Anniversary
The 145th Anniversary Washington Ball at Artillery Armory drew about 200 attendees in a festive night of old fashioned dances. With George R Fish overseeing decorations and Straight's Orchestra providing music, the event ran until 1 am led by Lieut Col A W Anthony and Mrs Anthony. Refreshments were served at 11 pm and a Colonial dress code was noted among many attendees.
