Proposal to Expand Main Sewage Pumping Station
A report recommends increasing the main sewage pumping station with four new stations and two initial pump units, plus a force main to the treatment plant. It warns the clarifier units at the plant are overloaded and a new unit should be built after improvements. a third sludge digester is beneficial but not urgent. Current sewer flow is at maximum, so enlarging capacity will worsen the outfall unless an immediate new outfall is added.
