Antone Medeiros, 56, of 174 Bradford Street, was taken to St Joseph's Hospital with a possible skull fracture, brain concussion, severe scalp lacerations, shock, a punctured ear and a finger after a quarrel with brother John Medeiros, 66, also of Bradford Street. John was jailed to face formal charges after confessing to the attack. The assault occurred about 12:30 this morning when the pair argued over who would pay this week's rent.
