DeLuca Receives BA at Brown University Commencement
Frank Gy DeLuca son of Mr and Mrs Thomas DeLuca of Shilton Street was among nearly 100 Brown University students graduating at a special Brown Faunce House Theater exercises. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with requirements completed last September. DeLuca, then teaching zoology at Rhode Island State College since 1949, attended the ceremony.

Funeral of Mrs Frances Hackley in Warren Mass
The funeral for Frances Gregory Hackley 61 of 8 Harding Avenue Warren who died Friday in Fall River hospital was held from C M Connery Funeral Home with a solemn high Mass of Requiem at St Marys Church. Father Smith assisted by Fathers Conneely and Slavin officiated. Hope Circle D of I attended in a body. Burial followed in St Marys Cemetery.
