A daughter was born Wednesday evening at the Lying-In Hospital Providence to Mr and Mrs James E Sullivan. Both mother and daughter are doing nicely. Mrs Sullivan is the former Miss Vivian O’Neil of Warren. Mr Sullivan is principal of the Guiteras Memorial junior high school in town.
An 11 year old Warren girl Jane Martelly and New Bedford man Joseph Modiano were injured in Bristol auto accidents on Wednesday. The girl suffered mouth cuts when a car driven by her grandfather John Martelly swerved and hit a Bristol Highway Department truck driven by Joseph Travers. Modiano sustained back pains and scratched hands after being struck by a car driven by Amedee Dallaire at Hope and Franklin streets.
