All Stars Win at Warren Armory Over Peacedale Team
Sunday afternoon the Warren Armory hosted the Bristol County All Stars who defeated the Peacedale Town Team 40 to 23. Sal Sevigney of Warren led with six field goals while French, the 6'4" center from Peacedale, scored 30 with six field goals. Next Sunday the All Stars face the Newport Point Hammers, named Rhode Island State champions.

Eightieth Birthday of Well Known Citizen
Hugh McShane celebrated his eightieth birthday at 241 Wood Street with relatives from town Pawtucket and Boston. Bristol Man Arrested in East Providence
Lucian Monteiro aged 29 of 55 Thompson Avenue was arrested Saturday afternoon by East Providence police on Phillips Street. He pleaded guilty at a Seventh District Court special session to unlawful transportation and possession of liquor, each fined $50 plus costs. Police pursued him from Riverside where moonshine was suspected, later finding two five gallon cans in his car.
