Rationing Board Moves Office to New Bristol Location

The Bristol Rationing and Price Control Board will occupy the former Stephen W Hopkins store at 473 Hope Street on January 15, relocating from 702 Hope Street in the Paull House. Capt. Paul A Herzig, chairman, announced state approval and that the central location is easier for the public. The board contains four main panels Price Fuel Mileage and Food plus a Miscellaneous panel for rubber boots, with leadership and clerks listed.

New Year’s Eve and Day Services Planned Across Churches

The First Baptist Church hosts a Watchnight service at 10 tonight with Rev Anthonys RO Parshles as speaker.
