Christmas tree exercises filled vestries and chapels as multiple congregations held festive programs. Sneak Thief Steals Watches From Bennett Home
A thief gained entry through an unlocked Central Street window Monday evening at the home of H. F. Bennett on the corner of Bradford and Central, stealing two watches a watch fob a watch charm and a bundle of keys belonging to G. E. Liebreich and W. R. Davis. The intruder escaped while the house maid was in the basement. Police were notified and postal notices dispatched to major New England cities.
