Homecoming of a wounded Korean War Marine
Cpl Ralph Nastri, 21, son of Mr and Mrs Andrew Nastri of 117 Bradford Street, returned home for Christmas on crutches after being wounded in Korea. He served with the Marines at Inchon, near the Changjin Reservoir, and the Pusan Perimeter, was evacuated to Japan, and later wired his family to not worry. He is expected to be transferred to Chelsea Naval Hospital.
