Three year old dies after swallowing grip medicine
The eight year old Alfred Oliver son of Mr and Mrs Antone Oliver of 34 Thompson avenue died after consuming a large amount of grip medicine while alone in the kitchen. His mother found him later in convulsions and he died about ten minutes after Dr. A M Merriman arrived. Funeral was at 2 pm at the parents home and interment followed at St Mary's cemetery with floral tributes including a piece from the Divino Espirito Santo Association.

Frank Tierney died this forenoon after a long illness from a complication of diseases. Born in Ireland, he worked as a coachman in Bristol and Providence before settling in Taunton, Massachusetts.
