Christmas Parties Illuminate Bristol Charities
Hundreds of Bristolians attended Christmas socials hosted by local organizations. Donations of vegetables, canned goods, clothing and toys were gathered for the needy and will be distributed tomorrow. Highlights included the Kearney Post American Legion party with Santa, the high school and Americanization classes playlet Christmas Bouquets, and a K of C turkey bingo fundraiser.

Yuletide Parties Mark Closing of Local Schools
Christmas exercises were held in all Bristol public schools with carols and recitals. Candy was distributed to pupils as a holiday program ended and schools closed until Tuesday January 2. The Colt High School program included multiple carols and a football letters presentation for the 1932 squad led by Captain Mike DeLeo and other players.

A large crowd gathered at Guiteras Memorial Junior High School gym last evening to watch three local teams in benefit games for the Kearney Post Christmas basket fund. The Red Jackets and Colt High won, the Town Team was edged by Mt. Pleasant Collegians, and about $25 was raised.
