The GB2 class at Reynolds School formed the Nature Club with Mrs Catherine Murtro as teacher. At a Wednesday meeting Goldenrod Troop No 1 voted to donate the weeks dues to the Providence Journal Santa Claus fund. Leah Fluisenstadt Peggy Mathewson Esther Hazen and Jessie Sanford were chosen to plan a hike next week. The council will host a Christmas party Thursday evening. Second and first class candidates began studying nature work with Ruth Sanford leading the opening ceremony and Mrs Lane organizing nature work and games.

Town Council repealed old traffic rulings and adopted a new set of ordinances drafted by Police Chief Richard J Kavanaugh. Merchants along Hope street welcome right hand parking on both sides while main street owners seek a 60 minute limit to curb all day parking. Hope High and Wood streets become arterial highways with boulevard stops at intersections and bus stops to be placed near curbs.
