Bristol County Court Hears Bicycle Collision Case

The Bristol County court heard a suit by William George against John Gior ge Bowich for damages up to 5000 dollars after a bicycle accident on the highway. Plaintiff alleges he was injured when his bicycle was struck by a car owned by the defendant while returning from work. Attorney T O Donnell represented the plaintiff and William Bliss of East Providence the defendant. The jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff for the full amount claimed. Two other docket items, Mary Vachon vs Warren Manufacturing Company and Emma Benjamin administratrix vs Vincenzo Carabotta, were not tried this session. The defendant’s summer residence is Ferry Hill. The case specifics include a prior noon session and designation of two additional cases remaining on the docket.

Juniors Beat Sophomores In Parish House Thriller

In a close Parish House contest the Juniors edged the Sophomores 25 to 17 after a disputed opening shot by Flint. Hammill led scorers with floor points, while Fish and Garvin added fouls.
