Snowstorm Bruises Bristol With Heavy Snow and Damaged Awnings
A third installment of snow fell Sunday morning in Bristol, reaching about 18 inches on the level. The high wind tore down an awning at the Canny Kitchen on State and Hope, smashing a plate glass window. another awning at F. M. Dimond's New York store suffered frame damage but no glass breakage. Snow plows kept rail travel running with little delay, while the ferry did not operate until Sunday afternoon due to snow and rough harbor.
