Bristol council approves municipal shed site and new beach plan
Bristol town officials move to build a municipal shed on Fourth street Mount Hope avenue land after surveyor James Holmes completes structure plans. They authorize a new bathing beach at Rockwell Park near Thames street following Mount Hope Bay flooding, and ask State Fish and Game chief Kirby to verify access hours. The council also approves sewer work on Richmond near Prospect, authorizes tax anticipation borrowing, and grants extended hours for local gambling venues and New Year celebrations while reviewing a minors’ license hearing.
