St Marys Mothers Club plans its annual Christmas party for St Marys School children on Sunday December 19 at 2 p m in the St Marys Auditorium chaired by Mrs John St Angelo with co chairlady Mrs Edward Rinaldi and a long committee list.

Congregational Church Choir Plans January Tri Hi Y Program
The Tri Hi Y group will hold a January program starting January 3 with five Mondays of activities including movies talks and future plans for Tri Hi Y. January 10 features a Water Works trip in Warren January 17 and 24 tours and Music Appreciation night with a fashion show by several girls. The program also includes language themed songs and a December style page. The Congregational Church choir led by Herrmann L Wilbur will open its annual carol service Sunday at 4 pm in DeWolf Memorial Chapel with other carols and congregational singing.

Seaman James Reynolds USN Serves Aboard Little Rock
James E. Reynolds USN husband of Mrs. Anna Reynolds of 485 Wood St Bristol Rhode Island has been advanced to seaman while aboard the light cruiser USS Little Rock. The ship has operated in the Mediterranean since September 1948 visiting Gibraltar Greece and Tunisia and is expected to return to the United States after further visits to Mediterranean nations.
