Woman Struck By Car In Fisher Street Intersection
Mrs Rosalen Medeiros of 3 Perry Place was treated for a sprained ankle and knee bruises after being struck by Manuel Morris of 5 Prospect Street near Bradford and Bourn streets Saturday at 11 45 PM. Police say Morris backed into Bourn Street and stopped when shouted at. Medeiros was crossing and fell then was hit before being taken to Dr William Serbst. Officer Henry J Sylvia investigated the accident.

U S Rubber Questions Drainage Line Sale To A T A
United States Rubber Company asked what would happen to its privately owned drainage line emptying into the harbor at Bradford street. The town council read a letter from U S Rubber Corp assuring the site would remain unimpaired if sold to Collins and Aikman Corp. A meeting Friday will decide taxpayer approval of the sale as part of A T A expansion plans with council backing this project.
