United Brothers Lodge Hosts Social Evening in Odd Fellows Hall
Members of United Brothers Lodge No 13 I O O F and guests enjoyed an open meeting Tuesday night in Odd Fellows Hall. The hall featured flag decorations, Crown Orchestra music, cigars, and a program including a welcome address, remarks, tricks, vocal selections, and an Irish wit performance. Bertram W Wall received a silver baton from members after being named Grand Marshal of the Rhode Island Grand Lodge. Ice cream and cake followed the program.

Bristol to seek fire relief and lower insurance rates
The Bristol Town Council heard a report from the New England Insurance Exchange recommending a 40 gallon chemical tank auto truck and paid fireman to raise Bristol from class E to C for minimum dwelling rates. The plan includes a phantom box fire alarm districts and a closed circuit sounding system. Action on the auto truck is expected at the March town meeting. Capt James W.
