Christmas Carols Promised Sunday Afternoon Program
A Christmas carol program will take place Sunday at 4 in DeWolf Memorial Chapel. The First Congregational Choir will perform with Vernon A Gray as soloist under the direction of Herrmann L Wilbur. The program features lesser known but delightful Christmas arrangements. Rev Charles R Cooley announced that the children's carols planned for Sunday morning were canceled due to the director's illness, Mrs Howard House.

Family escapes through window as fire dispatches cottage rescue

Knights of Columbus vote to buy health bond for Europe aid
