Bristol County Poultry Show Crowns Winners in Three Day Exhibit
Bristol County Poultry Association staged a three day show in Bristol Hall with a wide entry of breeds. Judges W Allen Greenville R T A Ballon Worcester and G G Cook Waltham awarded numerous prizes to Sparks Brothers J A Herreshoff Jamies Ingram and others as best cock hen pullet and pen across Barred Plymouth Rocks White Wyandotte Rhode Island Red White Orpington and other classes. Proceeds from a final poultry sale benefited Burnside fund.

New Draft System Changes Examinations and Queues
The draft starts tomorrow with about 1000 men liable for service in town. Those exempted in the first draft will be examined again. The examination headquarters move from the post office building to the Reynolds School building.

Legal Advisory Board Announces Draft Questionnaire Process
The board will operate from 7 to 10 each evening with 20 clerks and volunteer teachers. Questionnaires will be mailed to 50 young men daily who must report to Reynolds School promptly. Members include William T. O'Donnell chairing, with Benjamin F. Lindemuth James Lavander, and Joseph A. Hammill. Roy H. Beattie has been succeeded by Samuel M. Smith as draft card chairman.
