Last evening the Y M C A held its first seasonal members' meeting in Rockwell Halls with Prof. M. E. Blystone of the Weather Bureau, Providence, delivering a lecture on Weather Forecasting illustrated by about 75 stereopticon views. He outlined the bureau's 1870 founding, 200 stations, and the central office in Washington DC, noting international exchanges with Canada and Mexico. The talk covered essential instruments, storm paths, and historical weather scenes, and included critique of forecast accuracy along with the bureau's value and costs.

Town Council Hears Fire Alarm Inquiry and Sewer Bill
