Bristol Train of Artillery to resume Washington Ball

Renewal of Bristol's long running social event the Washington Ball was set to return with Capt Charles T Heilborn Jr named chairman. Member of Postal Force Observes 30th Anniversary

Barrington School Supt to Speak at PTA Meeting

Barrington school superintendent Carl H Porter Shirley will address the Junior-Senior High PTA next Thursday evening at the new Andrews Memorial School at 7 o clock Guest Night invites all mothers fathers and friends of the pupils to attend and bring a guest. Bristol Auto Sub-Station Extends Hours Next Week

State Registrar George R. Beane approves extended hours at the Makowsky building sub station in Bristol next week to aid renewals. Senator Bertram W. Wall notes satisfaction with results and hints the station may stay open longer, contingent on future decisions. Castriotta reports the best day since opening and says factory workers will have noon to 1 30pm access, with a 9am start.

Governor Vanderbilt Receives Seal of Good Will

Rhode Island officials receive the Italian Socialites Women’s Club Seal of Good Will for the charity drive. Governor William H Vanderbilt joins Town Council President J Floyd Huestis and Rev Joseph Sorzano in the honor.
