Italian American Education Week Programs At Reynolds School
A large crowd attended a Kearney Post American Legion Education Week meeting for Italian residents at Reynolds School. Speakers included Rev. Poja and Judge Capotosto in English and Italian, urging citizenship and Americanization. A Portuguese program follows and other city leaders attend school lectures on education. Physical Education Day planned with Boy Scouts hikes.

Progress Made on Guiteras School Report for Town Meeting
Last evening at Colt Memorial High School the Investigating Committee discussed a legal option on reserving part of Dr. Guiteras bequest as a maintenance fund after the new Guiteras School is built. Attorney William T. O'Donnell reported favorable court decisions and Miss Gertrude E. Gutteras, heir at law, supports the fund and signed a covenant releasing claims.
