Town votes to add four permanent police and new dispatch boxes
At a special town meeting in the Bristol town hall, voters approved a 3704.75 appropriation covering quarantine and strike expenses and approved funds to hire four more permanent officers for the rest of the fiscal year. Also approved install of sixteen Gamwell system police call boxes with telephones and emergency features.
