YMCA Notes Highlights Club Activities and Events
The Jr Tri Hi-Y Club sponsored a successful cake sale at Ferris Dry Goods to fund yule baskets for the needy. The YMCA Jr Hi-Y Club hosted a dance in the Wardwell Room with 40+ Junior high participants and several new visitors. New members joined, and upcoming meetings include Board of Recreation, Cub Scouts, and Jr. Hi-Y activities. Hector Massa invites Hi-Y League enrollments and beginner programs for ages 6-9 at the Y. Bristol County Chapter's National Foundation Kick-Off Dinner featured Robert Russell stressing funding needs to combat birth defects and arthritis, noting losses from birth defects.
