Bristol harbor will host the 40th annual open regatta of the Bristol Yacht Club with hundreds watching. The Cruising Class starts at 2 10 p m, followed by Class A and B at 2 15, then other classes every three minutes. courses span 2.5 to 17 nautical miles. The Regatta Committee is chaired by J Peter Geddes and includes six members who will judge, start, and award prizes. A dance at the Yacht Club runs 9 p m to midnight.
