Willkie Clubs Form in Bristol County

Organization for Bristol County of the Associated Willkie Clubs of R I appoints Reginald Dimond as chairman. Dimond, former Bristol Rotary president and Bristol Y M C A director, will establish five clubs serving 2500 population each. He seeks volunteers for executive roles and notes a $102 budget for Bristol. Democrats encouraged to join only if previously inactive in politics.

Bristol Scouts Bugle and Drum Corps Dominate Fall River Event

The Bristol Boy Scouts Bugle and Drum Corps won top honors at the Syrian American Corps drum and bugle competition in Fall River tying Warwick for the highest aggregate score of 293.39.
