Nearly 75 members of the Rhode Island Auxiliary Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and G A R comrades visited the Soldiers Home Sunday afternoon. A music program featured talent from Station WJAR Outlet Company Providence WMBA. Anneceeded by announcer Raymond Kelley. The program included readings bass and tenor solos ukulele numbers and piano pieces with the crowd joining in America at the end. Candy and cake were shared and the annual VISITATION set for Sunday Oct 2 announced by Commandant Susan M Sheple.

Fifth District Court Dockets Include Guilty Assault Adjudication

The Common and Callan Playgrounds closed the season with a Friday Field Day led by Supervisor George J O'Brien. Veteran firemen set plans for Labor Day muster trip
