Chick Massa's Homer Wins for Ever Readys
Chick Massa homered in the fourth to break a deadlock and lift the Ever Readys to a 4 3 twilight league win over Eddie Bullock's Artillery. Massa's shot sent Louie Sylvia home as Chief Phillips and Tommie Van Voast matched four hits each. Errors fueled a three run Artillery first inning rally, but Ever Readys answered to take the lead and preserved it with sharp fielding plays by Paul Bruno and Manny Borges.
