Colonial Hotel nine led by Luther Farrell pitched a fine game and Babe Milton hit a long homer as Hotel Nine defeated the Drug Stores 5 to 2 to seize first place. Youth escapes third time from Lockanosset School
Coortunate Abate of 16 of 45 Catherine Street, an inmate at Lockanosset School for delinquent boys, was captured at his home after a third escape in six months. He had a prior burglary arrest and a recent Warwick case looting watches and jewelry from Arthur Selby's home. Abate was nicknamed the Dawn Burglar by local police.
