State Firemen's Muster Prizes Raised to 175 150 75 50

An executive committee meeting at Coff's Hotel Warren heard that Humphrey O'Sullivan sent $100 to be used by the league. The Wrights of Mechanics Engine Company No 2 Warren attended. The plan is to divide the funds into four parts and add to existing prizes for the hand engine contest, making prizes 175 150 75 and 50.

Farewell Party At Redcrest For Mrs Taylors Help

A yearly farewell party hosted by Mrs S A Tay lor was held on Saturday night August 24 at Redcrest on Poppasquash. About fifty attendees enjoyed dancing and games despite a storm dimming lanterns. Interior decorations featured red crepe paper ferns and cut flowers with refreshments served after music by T Levey of Bristol and LT Cooney of Providence.
