The Bristol Boy Scout Bugle and Drum Corps will start a Booster Campaign tomorrow, with Donation Day to raise funds for new instruments. The drive seeks $570 to equip 12 soprano bugles, 4 piston G-D bugles, 2 tenor bugles, a bass drum, 8 snares, cymbals, bugle bells, and more, aided by recent donations of baritone bugles and cymbals.

Lindley Speaks On Pitcairn Island at Bristol Yacht Club

Granville P Lindley of Barrington gave an illustrated talk on Pitcairn Island at the Bristol Yacht Club last night. More than 100 people heard of the island visit by two men who installed modern radio gear to connect natives with the outside world. Motion pictures of living conditions were shown after the talk, with J W DeWolf Jr. serving as committee chair.

Trio Admits Break at Callan Construction Office
