Skeleton of a man who hanged himself was found by Joseph R. Perry and his children east of Cole street in South Seekonk. Medical examiner Holden said the remains likely dated from last spring and were clothed in winter garments with no identification. No missing person was reported in the area.
Those learning to swim this summer are urged to take the beginner's test at 4 o clock at the bath house. Test requires swimming fifty feet. Merriam asks for names in advance. Bath house hours: weekdays 9 30 to 12 30 and 1 30 to 7 30 pm Sundays 10 to 6.
