Charles C. Porter, Chicago investment counsellor, announced the purchase of 32 acres with 845 feet frontage on Ferry road between the McKee and Nicholson estates. The Bristol estate, named Blue Spruces, features over 3000 trees and Narragansett Bay frontage. The price is undisclosed. sellers include Ferry Hill Improvement Co and McKee daughters.

Will Work Out Fine In Providence County Jail
Antonio Perry 28 of 25 Franklin street Providence will serve 21 days in jail after pleading guilty to unlawfully transporting liquor. Judge Benjamin F Lin-demuth imposed the sentence in Fifth District Court. Perry was arrested by local police on a date in August and fined $100 plus costs. Continuances were granted in two book account cases on the Emil docket while other cases remained defaulted.
