Senator Colt Shows Slight Improvement in Condition
United States Senator LeBaron B Colt remains critically ill at Hinden Place Bristol R I with a week of illness. A bulletin from Dr A M Merriman at 11 o clock reports the Senator is somewhat improved over the past 24 hours and rested well last night. A flood of sympathy letters has poured in including one from the Japanese Embassy in Washington signed by Isaburo Yoshitto Charge d Affaires expressing wishes for a speedy recovery.

Fourth Annual Auxiliary Convention Largely Attended
The fourth annual Rhode Island American Legion Auxiliary convention opened at Colt Memorial High School in Bristol with Mrs Edna Davos elected Department President. Delegates announced 3278 Legion members in Rhode Island and 900 to 1000 Auxiliary members, with officers and national speakers including Dr Kate Waller Barrett and others. A 1925 convention will be in Pawtucket as delegates planned events and a post reception followed in the Kearney Unit dance.
